tracked is a lap-analysis tool for track days. This page says what it keeps about you and why.
Importing files
Imported files are sent to the tracked server for decoding. When you are signed in, your track days and original data files are saved to your account. The browser holds opened sessions in memory while the page is open; it also stores preferences such as your theme and notebook layout. Days saved in browser storage by older versions are moved to your account when you sign in.
With an account
When you sign in with Google, Apple or an email and password, we keep:
- your email address and the name your sign-in provider shares, plus the provider's account id, so we can recognise you next time;
- the track days you import while signed in, including the original data files, so you can open them on any device;
- anything you add yourself, such as events, comments and who you follow.
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. The only cookies are the one that keeps you signed in and a short-lived one used during sign-in; there are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Where it lives
Account records are stored in a Postgres database hosted by Render in the United States. Saved telemetry files may also be stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. We use these services to run tracked. We do not sell your data. Other users can see information you choose to share through events, posts or analysis sharing.
Deleting your data
You can delete track days from Your days at any time. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email trackedthedev@gmail.com from the address you sign in with.
